Using an assembly with iLogic and Form as a sub-assembly and be able to update

I have created an assembly of a threshold for a door that has both ilogic rules and a form where the user can input door frame width and the model will adjust to the proper configuration.  I now would like to use this assembly as a sub-assembly where I can add the remaining components, like door frame, hinges and ultimately another sub-assembly of a door and all its components.  The problem I have is I'm not sure how to make this happen.  I would like to be able to create a form in the new assembly that will answer the same questions that are part of the threshold sub-assembly. I have searched through the forum and internet and have not been able to find a solution.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.   I have attached a picture of the model of the threshold and the form that gets filled out.  The ultimate goal is to have a complete door assembly where I can swap out thresholds in-sweep and out-sweep along with other sub-assemblies like door configurations.  Thanks,

Ok, I need some guidance.  I'm 4 months into learning Inventor and I'm working on a project to create a residential door assembly.  The original question I posted was based on that project.  The vision I have is a door assembly that the user will be able to answer questions like height, width, style, color, the direction of swing...etc.  I have created a threshold that the user can answer questions via the form and based on their inputs the model updates.  Updates by suppressing and un-suppressing components.  I would like to then use this inside another assembly as a sub-assembly. This other assembly will have more subassemblies like a door and frame.  I would like to have a form in the master assembly that the user can enter their data or the data could be pulled in via a spreadsheet (online ordering generates the dimensional values) and the model would adjust from there or what I refer to as regenerate. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.  I  just don't want to get too far into this model and find out that I should be doing something different.  I have attached a JPG of a door assembly for reference.

Attached you will find a picture explaining the components of the door that will be changing.  Please let me know if this is what you were looking for.  Thanks for your help.

@john.swinderman,

For more understanding, it is better to test iLogic form with assembly file.

Can you please provide simple door assembly (.iam file) which contains all level of occurrence (means including subassembly and parts)? please make sure that files are non confidential.

Thanks and regards,

So in the process of putting together a simplified model to send you, I figured out what I was doing wrong.  I must have stared at this model for a week trying various things and nothing would work.    Thanks for your help in a roundabout way.
