Updating content center's parts with updated parameters names

Good morning everyone,

I am trying to figure out how to update a part that is in content center to have the correct model parameter name in it.  Right now when I go to my part and add it in

I save the part as custom in the folder I need it.  But my parameter is not coming in correctly.  The description does have the correct name

But the parameters that are in the part need to be updated from "LENGTH" to "CUT"

Is there a way to have the "LENGTH" model parameter to come out of content center to already be "CUT"???

Have you done a replace family template of the family with the modified custom part file?  Or you can change the mapping in the family template.
