Unreserve legacy check out file with code?

According to this knowledge article, we should be able to automate the "Stealing" of the checkout via code, just as we can manually, but we are seeing an error when attempting to do this:

This issue we're seeing seems to be that this no longer works with Windows 10 and beyond. I might be wrong about this...but was wondering if anyone could confirm this one way or another? And if this is the case, if this something Autodesk plans to fix, etc. @MjDeck @johnsonshiue

Attached is a file that is reserved to test with.

Here's a link describing the manual process:

Thanks!

For anyone in the future ( including myself when I come back here looking for this) ... here is what is needed to make this work:

  1. Project file needs to be in "Shared" mode, not semi-isolated.
  2. The Inventor user name needs to be switched to the name of the user who checked out the file

I haven't tested this yet, but a co-worker reported this working.
