Triggering a Rule with Keyboard Hotkey

So al this iTrigger and event Trigger stuff made me curious to experiment a little with rule triggers, the only thing is i'm no programmer by all means so that's why I'm here. my question is can I trigger a rule by pressing a combination of 2 keys on my keyboard for example 'CTRL + F' or something like that if so how?

There is no way to link a hotkey to an iLogic rule, but you can create a macro to lunch it.  See this thread.
