Run Macro from two Inventor Application Instances Simultaneously

Hello.

I am looking to run a macro I made from multiple Inventor Application Instances [IAI]. My program applies a user-defined set of formats to an excel workbook. No open inventor documents are necessary. This functionality is definitely existent as I have a simple msgbox program I could run from multiple IAI. Does anyone have any info about this, possible limitations, etc. I would imagine all objects would be contained to each application such that they do not interfere with each other. 

Any info or shared experience on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Basically, Inventor will not support multi threaded applications. For more details, refer below blog link.
