Desperate and dump
HI, everyone I'm working in a company that is manufacturing low voltage electric panels and we have a lot of files to be converted in a day.
I have been trying to write a rule to do a lot of stuff in one ilogic rule but i face nightmares.
because I'm not perfect in programming have shallow knowledge in vb .
So I was desperate and feeling dump and hopeless. I have a larger assembly file that has 'sub' assemblies within the file.
I want my rule to be able to loop through ALL sub assemblies within the larger assembly file.
and do the following:
.open file part and check if Sheetmetal or not
if not sheet metal :
.Define (A) Side and convert to sheet metal
then :
check if the flat pattern is the same size as the part then exclude this part from conversion
.add material "steel mild" for part
.create flat pattern
.create custom iproperties with the width,hight,tickness,area and mass
.export dxf for the file to a defined folder from the user
.export iproperties data to excel sheet with " partname ,width,hight,thickness,area and mass "
.create drawing for the part and save the drawing in a folder to be printed later (can be in a separate rule )
So can any one help please .
