Pattern view representation

Hello everyone.

I'm having some difficulties with a component pattern of subassemblies.

When the number of elements in the pattern is increased, the new elements of the pattern are shown in a Master view representation regarding the view of the first element (witch is the view that I want for all the elements).

PATTERN 1.PNGPATTERN 2.PNG

Is this behavior normal ? Do I have to create some ilogic rule to change all the elements view representation to default?

Thanks in advance!

We're having similar issues here, I will follow this topic for when someone comes up with a solution.

Hi @mat_hijs , @Anonymous , & @Anonymous

If the first item in the Pattern had its Design View Representation set to Associative, then when you pattern that item, it still creates all of the other new items as either Master or not associative, then try changing the following settings, and see if that helps.

Go into your Application Options / File tab / Options area (near bottom), and click on the "File Open..." button.  In that dialog, on both the Part tab & Assembly tab, choose "Last Active" from the Design View Representation drop-down list, then check the box next to Associative.  Then click OK on that File Open Options dialog, then click OK on the Application Options dialog.

Now see if the same behavior persists.

(Of course the 'Last Active' Design View Representation when the files were saved then closed, will be what is used, so it's not totally bullet proof.)
