Open 2019 ipt files in 2018

I have inventor professional 2019 and I want to open an ipt file in inventor professional 2018. Is this possible?

If you have the newest 2018 updates installed you can open, view, and use 2019 files in 2018. You can not edit 2019 files in 2018, they will be a single solid body. If you need to edit the parts in 2018 you would have to redo the part.
