Notch Bend Lines in Flat Pattern

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a way to automatically add small notches to the ends of the bend lines in a flat pattern.  When we do lofted flanges we like to add little circular cutouts to the ends of the bend lines to guide our brake operators.  I have etched bend lines with the laser in the past but if we do that we can only get a reference on one side of the flat which causes problems for "down" bends.  Ideally I'd like to detect components that have a Lofted Flange feature and automatically create the notches at the ends of the bend lines.  This seems like a feature that should be built into Inventor but, as far as I know, there is no way to do it currently.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy

Yes that would be a very useful tool.
Currently the only way i found was go to flat pattern, sketch, zoom into each centreline of bend place a point on line near edge on each end (when zoomed in the mm grid gives idea of how close you are).
Go out and select hole.
Does take time. . .
