New Hatch Patterns for Inventor 2018

Hello,

I'm new to the forums and I did a search to find how to create a new hatch pattern but didn't see anything specific for Inventor 2018.  I'm working with composite panels and I'd like to create/import a honeycomb hatch pattern to use in my drawing section views.  I have spent most of my 3D/2D design time in a different modeling program and it had a more extensive pre-defined hatch pattern selection than Inventor does.

So my question is:

is there a tutorial on how to create your own hatch pattern and is there a place I can download pre-defined additional hatch patterns or user created hatch patterns that would expand my current library?

Thanks for the help.

Tim

You can use AutoCAD pattern in Inventor. Viz:

We keep links to hatch pattern collections here:  http://hatchkit.com.au/HatLinks.php

hope this helps
