Hi, I'm in need of some advice on how to extend a chamfer face out past where it ends on the outer diameter. The chamfer faces are angled and our machine programmer is wanting to 3D this surface, so he needs his tool to actually start making it's path before it ever hits the material to ensure he gets a good start point once it does contact the material surface. Can someone please help me out, I've been messing with this for over an hour now and can't get anywhere with it. Pics and model are attached for examples/visual aid. Thanks in advance.
