Model tree instance name does not match file name

I have created a custom part library in Content Center, based on an existing library. I have adjusted and/or added column entries to the family table and successfully created members that are named according to our desired conventions. One of the features of the table is whether a part is carbon steel or stainless steel (CS or SS).

When I place into an assembly (from Content Center) one each of the same size part, one CS and the other SS,  the name displayed in the Model browser does not match the complete filename. The attached picture shows what I mean. The filename ends with either CS or SS, but this does not show up in the browser.

I already know about "Rename Browser Nodes", but that change also includes the file extension. Besides, why is this extra step necessary? What is missing, such that the tree display name does not match the file name?

Is there something in the library itself that needs setting or changing or adding?  It seems fairly straightforward to me, but a solution eludes me.

For the filename to match the browser name you must right click the column to access the properties and map to Inventor property as shown below

Hope this helps

@Anonymous

Thanks!  That did the trick.  I actually considered doing that at one point, but didn't try it. I should have persevered.
