If you embed an excel table in your sheet manually you will have a direct link. If it allows your custom header and footer that is a different matter. How has the current table been created? If by the general table tool then you can only run a rule to copy and paste values to each cell in the table via code driven from the drawing and you cannot drive the change by changing excel only.
