IV8 Registry Question

Does anyone know what the differences are between the following keys in the
registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion8.0
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion8.9

In other words, what in the heck is version 8.9?

No, I never had the beta. I am just running plain AIS8. It does appear
that all of my settings are being actively saved in the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion8.0 key. (I
changed some preferences/options and checked to see which key changed.) I
have no idea where the 8.9 key came from.

Me either. Neither the beta nor Pro creates them. Was just wondering if
you had a version of the beta or Pro that the rest of us didn't 🙂
