Is it possible to access and change the "scene" property of a material's appearance with iLogic?

I am wondering if it is possible to access the "scene" property of a material's appearance with iLogic and set it to "sphere" for visual consistency. Some users parts are created in out of date templates and updating and purging style libraries doesn't seem to fix it. The material is correct in these cases, but sometimes the "scene" property is set to "object" instead of "sphere" and I would like to just include some ilogic in an existing part updater code that will handle these situations. Thanks!

Actually - I figured it out. Updating/purging the styles corrects this but it did not correct it on the users who had an out of date project file. Getting the out of date project file and running the update/purge style fixes this and the update/purge styles can be automated via ilogic
