Installing Inventor on External SSD

Hello,

I am a mechanical designer and working a roofing company for design equipment.
We are making a new plant and use a lot of big assembly with equipment and buildings.
We use Inventor 2018 and Vault Basic 2018 for our drawings. While we create and deal large assemblies, we have a performance issue. I searched the information, and some people recommended that large assembly required 500G SSD.
This is the current my computer information. computer.png

 So the company purchased new 500G SSD, and IT employee tries to install SSD, Inventor, and Vault.
I don't know where I install the Inventor and Vault. Is it installed in new SSD? Do windows have to be install in new SSD as well? Or Window stays in C drive and install the others in new SSD?
Can you give a correct instruction of the installation?

Regards,
Sophia Cho

@sophia.cho,

In Inventor Customization forum, questions are usually related to Inventor API. Current question seems to be an installation. Can you please post the same question at Inventor Forum using below link.

In Inventor forum, people may provide better suggestions.

Thanks and regards,
