Hello, I am trying to find online the plug-in for Inventor which provides the Infrastructure Part Shape Utility.
I do not have admin rights so when they have time I have to try to guide our IT department directly to the source. If the specific method does not work then days pass before they (well me) research and try the next thing. The process taking too much work time.
So far (as suggested online) we have re installed lates Inventor (add-in not present) so installed latest version of Infraworks (still no add in), I have since read that there is an extension for Infraworks which may carry the plug-in we require, of course we can't find the source for that plug in.
We have these issues a lot even though we are paying a lot for the software. The account assumes that each user has direct access to the software, although I can assure Autodesk in the many multi national companies I have worked for in London, we don't. We have to justify and explain what is required to non users and it is proving difficult.
Anyway, if anyone (preferably Autodesk) could tell us how we can source and install the plug in ASAP, would be greatly appreciated. It is costing us project time. Thank you in advance.
