ilogic surpressing individual parts within a component pattern

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem, I'm having.

a week ago, my workstation was upgraded from inventor 2018 to the latest version of inventor 2019. The problem I’m having is that my assembly was working perfectly fine within inventor 2018 and once switched over I am unable to suppress all the sums of a parts within a component pattern. Example, component pattern has 2-part files within it and I would like to just suppress one of the two parts within the component pattern. So, I have Part A (Component Pattern) and within the elements there is Part A1(Part File) and Part A2 (Part File) and I would like to suppress just Part A2 with my given parametric design. I’ve done Boolean functions as well as Sting functions but the result I keep getting back is Part A2 only being suppressed within Element 1 and not for the others.

Hi @Anonymous,

Would you please provide a model to show your issue? With 2019, I can suppress individual parts of component pattern with iLogic successfully.

Hi @Anonymous,

I still can't reproduce the issue you mentioned, and didn't see anything wrong with iLogic code in your model.

Attaching a simple model created with inventor 2019 with which please check whether it is what you meant to do.
