Hi,

I'm trying to read out some parameters from a .xsl. Somehow it worked fine at first but now i get the following error;

I have no clue what libxl means and i can find very little about it online

Excelfile = "C:\Data\Map voor Input CSV files\90156.xls"

Kasttype = GoExcel.CellValue(Excelfile, "90156" ,"A7")

I'm not entirely sure if it's the same thing but see this link.

There is a Windows system environment variable called "UseLibXL".

This is sometimes used to help speed up using Excel like functionality, without actually having to open Excel each time.

If anyone else is looking for this.  I had the same problem and it was because the excel file i was trying to access had somehow become locked so was read only.  Cleared the lock and works fine now.
