I have practical difficulties in accessing a computer with Inventor, but I will have access to one that has VS code. I just have a basic idea that you can import a .dll file into a code editor and be able to use the object, methods, etc. of the library. But I know nothing about VS code or how it interacts with external libraries. I am not using Visual Studio where you can apparently just add reference from the menus, but I do have the .dll file.
