How to acquire the Iproperties information without opening the file?

Hi,everybody!Sometimes I have to pick up the Iproperties information of each .ipt file into SQL Server. But I don’t know how to write a programming with VB.NET to acquire the Iproperties information without opening the file. Who can tell me how to do that? Thanks a lot.
