Dark Mode Missing from Forms

I just recently upgraded my version of Inventor Professional to 2022.2.2. I changed my color theme to dark, which is awsome by the way, good job development team. My issue is that everything in the app is now dark which I really like except for the iLogic Forms. I have a custom one that I use which has only the iProperties that I need on one form. Unfortunately the form is not dark like the rest of my dialog boxes. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? See the example below.

I have a Global Form with the 'Visual Style' set to 'Default' and it is in dark mode.

Does it still appear the same to you?

@JoãoASilvaThanks, that is a great start. But that only changes it for each file individually. I need it to set across the board whenever I open a file. I guess I could create a macro to run every time a model file is opened to correct this. Has anyone else had any luck doing this?

Also when you close the file and reopen it the dark mode does not stay even if you save and check back into the vault. Close the file and reopen...still no dark mode. When I open the file and look at the ilogic form properties, it shows the visual style to be on default. If I change it to any other visual style and then back to default it work. But it will lose it again once I close the file.

I could go on for an hour adding all the stuff dark mode doesn't work on. I think Autodesk needs go back to the drawing board and fix this so it functions correctly. Am I wrong in saying that Dark mode has many bugs or that it is still only half way developed? This is looking vaguely familiar, rushing a feature out that is only half way finished. I get it if they need real world feedback, but it would be nice for Autodesk to let us know we are not getting a full dark mode, only a partial. This does nothing but make me question the competence of some of your developers and maybe your PR and marketing processes.

I have the latest build and I can confirm that dark mode isn't present in the points you mentioned.

I did, however, had a few issues with the dark mode in forms, about a year ago, but a quick update fixed it.

About getting only a partial release, I do hope they don't go that route...

I also uploaded a screencast for you to view so you can see the issue visually. Not sure what can be done about this but I think it would be nice to see Autodesk taking an interest in this issue, I only posted this on 3/25/2022, maybe they deem it unworthy of their time to help.

Don't know if that could affect that bug you have...

Like you, i'm using 'Default'  as the 'Visual Style'.

Hello guys,

I revalidated iLogic form dark behavior. I used Inventor build that will became R 2022.3 + running on WIN 10 English, but it should not be a difference against 2022.2.2. On my PC iLogic form stays black even I reopen IPT with local form, even I restart Inventor, global form stays black for all open documents ... Hard to say why you see iLogic form light. Try to change form appearance to DEVEXPRESS DARK STYLE or Office 2016 BLACK style instead of DEFAULT style - the color of DEVEXPRESS DARK STYLE is not 100% black (it is more brown), but not light.

OK I just figured it out.

I right clicked on the drop down for the top section of my form and it had two options:

• resize controls
• restore default control sizes

I chose the "restore default control sizes" and it changed from light to the correct style that I chose. Not sure why or how but this fixed the problem.

Also now that it has been reset I only have one option when I right click on the top and that is Resize Controls.

I also noticed if I choose the "Resize Controls" and change my style. When I open the file again it has a mixture of the current style and the one I changed from last. I think there is a refresh missing in the way this works on the forms. The developers might want to look at that back-end code and see why it does this.
