Best approach for creating assembly of variable number of iParts

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a automatically driven assembly of a variable number of iParts families. These iParts families have a custom set of parameters and associated HSM machining milling toolpaths. They also include custom feature suppression.

With those parts I want to generate an iAssembly (?) composed by several of those parts (and it's variations) assembled in a correct position and with the possibility of creating of an exploded view.

Below is a schematics of the pretended assembly. It is composed of a central mandrel (Part#1) and spars (Part#2.1 to Part#2.n) and radii (Part#3.1 to Part#3.n).

My main difficulty is the variability of the parts.

What's the best approach for doing this? How can I place a variable number of custom iParts instances automatically?

Many thanks in advance.
