how would one specify an automatic reply with ilogic to any prompt when it came up? I want it to be a default response.

i know =true is usually a default ilogic answer.

If you mean Inventor dialogs then try to change boolean property Application.SilentOperation. Do not forget to restore FALSE value in any case (finish, error, etc.).
