Hey there!

 

this is not so easy i think.

 

i need help. i need simple primitve names when i create my model with single solidbodies.

 

For example, i use the primitve box and a primitive cylinder. i create both in different solid bodies.

 

Is there a way to get the information, that solidbody1 = BOX and solidbody2 = cylinder?

 

But it has to be safe that if the user creates a box through the standard way (2d sketch and extrusion) but with not parallel faces, that the algorithm knows that.

So does anyone has created a method for get these results? maybe with vectorbased calcualtions? to check if the faces around a rectangle to the each other (for box) or cylindrical face with 2x plane faces or something like that. i have no idea! At first a box should be enough,
