Hi @bionorica2015. You may have to explain the task in more detail. What is this for? Are you planning on engraving the text into something using CAM software and a CNC machine? Usually when exporting a DXF from Inventor, the source object is either an Inventor Drawing file (.idw or .dwg), or the Flat Pattern of a Sheet Metal Part, or the profile geometry of a selected face in a part model. What will the source object be in this case? Will there be anything else present within the DXF file other than this text, like maybe the borders of a plate of material, or something similar? Do you need the text to be 'vectorized' into geometry, instead of left as regular text. I understand that the content of the text will be a part number. Do you want the part number value to be extracted from an iProperty in a document, or will you want the code to prompt the user to type in some text, or will the text already exist somewhere?
