Use Parts List Numbers in Drawing

Hey,

I'm looking for a way to get the Parts List Property "Item" (or "Item Number") into the text below my Model's Base View (lets call it the Base View Subtext). 

Let me clarify:

When I'm editing my parts list, one of the Columns I can add is called "Item," and it's accessed from the "Parts List" property drop-down menu. This column results in the items in the parts list being numbered.

In my drawings, this property is referenced by the Balloons (or part labels).

I would like to reference it in the text on my drawing, specifically in the Base View Subtext (although I don't think that should matter). Specifically, I'd like to call up a base view for one of the items in the parts list, lets say Item 4, and have the Base View Subtext that pops up display "Detail Item 4" so that the "4" is a property that will change as I add or remove items from the parts list.

I hope that's clear enough. Is this possible, and how do I go about accessing the Parts List Property "Item?" Can I somehow get it into a Custom iProperty?
