Update All Parts in Assembly after Changing ContentCenter Parts

I need to update all my parts in an assembly file after making a change to the Family Table and part Template files in the C/C. I tried the usual "Refresh Standard Components" command, but that didn't work.
I found out why by reading the help:
"Note: Content Center components must be saved in the Content Center Files location defined in the current project file to include them in the refresh process."
All the assembly parts have been saved in the local folder where the assembly file resides.
So I'm guessing that's why these parts didn't update.
Has anybody come up with a way to update all their CC parts in an assembly under these circumstances?
The change I made to the CC parts is to add a new Column that links to a Custom iProperty in the part.
I need access to that Custom iProperty in my iLogic rule for all standard C/C parts so that one rule applies to everything.
The way I do it manually is to open the subassembly, then RMB on the individual part, then Change Size by replacing it with the same size member (which messes up my BOM). Activating the part that way somehow reconnects it to the C/C and updates it to the new modifications. When an assembly has discrete 100 parts that need updating, that's a lotta RSI on my old joint and eyes. Might as well pour a triple stiff one and go at it. But that ain't 'good practice'! So I'm in here looking for a solution that someone else may have already done, who's willing to share.
I'd be very grateful if someone can clue me in on how to make this happen.
Incidentally, I'm a newbie at iLogic, so I am not yet able to write programs to do this.
Thanx
