Title Block Text Size Change does not work ...

I have tried to change the size of the text in the title block and in other places within a drawing, but the changes are ignored. They always come back to Tahoma 0.120"

Is this a bug in the program?

Inventor 2013 with the latest service packs, etc.

I really need to make some changes to the title block and making the text smaller is one of them.

Can you clarify if this is a UI operation or via API to change the text size? And is the text a promted text or a common text?

I am too new to Inventor to know what you are asking.

So, the API is out of the question. I don't do APIs.

Here is what I did.

I made a new drawing.

I created a text block and put some text into it.

I have this box in front of me that has 'Format Text' in the upper left corner.

The font is Tahoma and the size is 0.120

It does not matter whether I change the font face or the font size, It always comes back to Tahoma 0.120.

Does that help you figure out what is wrong here?

From my understanding that seems you want to change the default Font and Size for the text box, this is pre-defined in the Text Style(like Note Text(ANSI)) in the upper-left of the Fomat Text dialog. If so you have to modify the Text Style in Style and Standard Editor.

And if you just want to override the font and size for some text string in the dialog, you can choose the text string in the Format Text  dialog to change the font and size.

Hope this helps.

Why I asked you about the UI or API operation you did is because you can post questions about UI operations to Autodesk Inventor. And this Autodesk Inventor Customization is focusing on Inventor API and iLogic questions:). Hope this clears.
