Read Only

To investigate problems I pack & go to the 😧 drive.

When making edits I get a, file is 'read only' message - the pack & go is from a data management system.

I think that might leave it's 'read only' setting in the files.

How could I force them to be read write?

Thanks

Andrew

This would either be an issue regarding the file set to Read-Only through the windows properties,

OR an issue of you using an incorrect project file that references parts you want to edit as being in a library location.

If you can right click the file and in the properties it doesn't say read only, you likely need to brush up on your understanding of project files.

right click & remove the read only attribute before inventor is open appears to have worked.

Thanks
