You can insert an image file into a sketch as a reference.
1.) Turn your word doc into an image file.
2.) Create a sketch in inventor
3.) Insert your image into the sketch. (Sketch Enviroment > Insert Panel > Image)
4.) Constrain the image.
5.) Start sketching profiles based on the referenced image.
6.) Loft, Extrude etc.
