Can someone please help me? I need to be able to pattern off a hole feature in Autodesk Inventor … This is a very simple concept in every other 3D package out there. Sorry for the Inventor bashing I’m apparently not bright enough to figure this out.
Example: The holes were not put in with a pattern, 1000’s of holes in random spots in a plate using one feature. Every hole is going to get the same bolting hardware. There is no way to make every hole in this plate part of some kind of pattern. Every hole in this feature is adaptive to different plates attached to this plate.
This should be as simple as placing the bolting hardware in once and using a pattern to hole feature (or something like that) then you done. As I said before I’m not bright enough to figure it out so any help would be much appreciated.
