This is sort of a 'tip of the iceberg' type of question. But you've come to the right place to ask questions about this type of project. It invokes a lot of other questions, about how much you may already know, what are all the details about your situation and more specific details about what you are trying to do, and the exact process you are wanting to follow to achieve your goals. There aren't really tons of videos or resources out there that will teach someone who may be new to Inventor and/or coding (iLogic, VBA, VB.NET) all they need to know to achieve a total custom design automation solution. But there are lots of resources available that may help you out with most of the little steps along the way. There is a limited amount of related resources within Inventor's online help website. (Click the drop-down arrow in Inventor's help (?) icon (upper right corner), then expand the 'Help' group, then click "Programming/API Help"). Using the main search function of this forum, and looking into all the posts that sound related to the steps you are currently dealing with is a fairly good way of learning this kind of stuff too. And some of the members who frequent this forum have separate blogs or external website locations that they also post helpful resources to, and often include links to them at the bottoms of their posts. Autodesk University is also a good place to find related resources.
