is it possible to create an content center Familie only select the files , but does not build the files?

what I want to do is to take all Motor that we have create over that time and make the user finde it thought a content center like GUI. Is that possible? I would like to do somthing resembled. To all other Standard part. Like Bearing, Sprocket and so on. I need to have a lot of custum information on the files. So I can´t use the standard families in inventor. And part like electric motor  might be very hard to make a familie templete that fit all current og future version of electric motor we might end up using

It is possible in general, but it is not documented and there is no user interface for this task. There are only undocumented API functions which can do something similar. But I don't test them.

For example there is family DIN 935 which has two different templates for different sizes (M10 vs M16). 

I recommend you to use project folder as library and build UI for it if necessary. It will be much easier then create this special content center family.
