Inventor 18 Precise input problem

Hello,

i just installed inventor pro 18 for students 2 days ago , while working in 3D sketch drawing a point with precise input the plotted point doesn't relate to my given coordinates , what's the solution for this problem knowing that the dynamic dimension works fine , also i uninstalled the previous versions of inventor  and reinstalled 2018 one.

windows 10 , Inventor pro 18

update:

i realized that this problem happens only if two coordinates are 0 like (5,0,0) or (0,8,0), but if all 3 coordinates are number as (1,5,8) the point plotted is correct, also 2017 versions has the same problem.

Hi --

Is this possibly because you have the precise input toolbar in "absolute" mode?

I could do the following steps and it worked OK for me:

Start 3D sketch.

Start making a line

Click on "center point" (in the model browser, so it's guaranteed to be accurate)

Enter 5,0,0 in the precise input toolbar, and <enter>

Exit from 3D sketch

Measure the line -- 5 inches

it worked for me but its little annoying while working , i hope autodesk find real solution for this problem as its already old one from 2017 version too.

Thank you for your reply.
