Hi guys,

Am hoping somebody can help with an iLogic code that will enable me to activate LODs for a sub assembly (61 LK 1806 L) within another sub assembly (Dynamic Door) within the main assembly. The LODs simply change suppression states of various parts within 61 LK 1806 assembly for either internal (IN) or external (EXT) facing hardware configurations, which I want to be shown in both the Dynamic Door and Main assemblies.

Cheers!Capture.PNG

There are two assembly1's in assembly 2 (assembly1A and assembly1B) and 1 assembly 2 in assembly 3. Is it possible for iLogic to activate different LOD's for assembly1 (A and B) files within assembly 2 or is this not possible without saving them as seperate assembly files?

Any advice or tips would be hugely appreciated as am fairly new to ilogic.

@Anonymous I see that you are visiting as a new member to the Inventor Forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Using iLogic is typically a very custom endeavor, here are a few links that might point you in the right direction:

iLogic To Control LOD in Sub-Assemblies

I spent a while designing security and iron entry doors, what kind of doors are you getting into?

Cheers @kelly.young. Will have a read through these and see what I come across.

Commercial Facade Doors to be used with curtain wall systems. Am essentially creating a dynamic door model made up of both derived and adaptive parts and features based upon a reference sketch. It allows the user to use a form to easily change door type, overall size, select optional componentry and hardware to suit that particular scenario, thus updating machining details accordingly.
