A pipe dream if this is possible:
I have a global form which displays main iproperties and allows entry of iproperties. It would be awesome if this form could update to show iproperties of a model or assembly but when I switch over to a different window in inventor then show that window file's iproperties.
Is it at all possible to jump from one window to another and display iproperties of that new window in the global form? Or is a global form only tied to the part, assembly or drawing that it was launched from?
I can use code to display both the part and its related drawing iproperties and also write to both using ilogic code but it would be really handy if the global form could act like I wish and display iproperties of any window that I select that is open.
