iLogic Form user defined dimension

Is there any way to assign a custom iproperty to a dimension that is defined by the user in an iLogic form.

i have a user defined iLogic form that gives an overall length of an I-beam. The customer tells the customer support agent the length they would like the beam, the CSA enters the value on the form and now I would like that value to populate a user defined dimension on the idw.

Thanks,

Hi,

I think the easiest way is to add a User Parameter from the model to the dimension on the idw.

See my added picture how to solve this..

And then you just set the value with the form that you want to have as dimension value.

Unfortunately that’s not quite what I’m looking for. This value should not be associated with the model at all. This idw is more like an order form that the CSA’s fill in the information to have manufacturing build from. I have attached an image of the iLogic form, I would like to last value on the form (Torque Arm Length) to populate the dimension shown. So far it doesn’t look like this is possible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How about createing a Sketched Sybol that looks like a dimension with Promted Value that you set by iLogic Code?
