how much data can be stored in each property set and each property?

hey all,

my question is how much data, can be stored in each property set, and in each property? meaning how many properties can be created inside a property set? and each property for example of type text, how many characters can have?

the reason i am asking that is that i have an Autodesk inventor plugin and i would like to store some data in an assembly file, so i want to know how much data can i store in it, also please let me know if there is a better way to store some data in Autodesk inventor document files?

I do not know for sure how much , but why not just se how many letteres you can add in.? Autodesk do put limited in many places .. I think it migth be between 500 to 1000 characters. But I have not try to on properties but in My search … it is around that nummer.

If you need a lot of data save … it might be a better so save it to an extarnel file .. like .xml or .xls by using Ilogic..

But I do not know what the best way for you ..
