Hole settings - why this happening?

Hi,

for long time I use hole settings in Inventor (from the start of this change). So I created my own hole settings and copy backup of HoleCmd.preset.

In Inventor 2021 it did not work. Backup of old settings did not work so I delete this file and make new set of holes. But this again do not work. Saved thread holes are without thread, through holes has different dimension etc. Why this is happening? I try to make set of two holes and this not work again. I have new installation of Windows 10 and Inventor 2021 to formated disk.

In attachment si part with holes what I want to save, but this did not work. I also look to edit preset file with notepad aplication and saved settings is not available in Inventor. You can see in picture also how thread M10 is "maded".

I tried also to make new directory elsewhere from default, change this patch in preferences and this problem was not solved by this.

Hi! The behavior does not sound right to me. I need to work with the project team to understand it better. Could you also share the Preset file here?

Many thanks!

I am having the same problem,
I took my 2020 HoleCmd.preset file and copied it over
The file loses my settings.
I have the original 2020 and the that I changed by only renaming the "0.6875" to "0.6875_11/16 Drill Thru"
Then just look at the #10 Cbore at the top, it defaults to a hex head 1/4 bolt instead of the original cbore for #10 SHCS
