Hi everyone.

Hope you all are well, and I appreciate whatever help you may have for me for this question.

I´ve tried to figure out how the Derive function SetHolePatchingOptions (vba) is working, but I can´t seem to find a solution for it so I went and tried to use the Derive function manually instead.

I have made "rings" with different sizes/inner diameters between 20 mm and 100 mm. I put them all in the same assembly and go to my part to create the Derived component. When I select "Options"-"Hole patching" - "Ranged (perimeter)" with "min=10 mm" and "Max=100 mm" it only patches my smallest Ø20 mm rings.

With this in mind I did some testing and it seems to me that the "Range"s Min and Max is using the rings volumes instead of the diameters of the hole. Can this be correct? Or is there a known bug in the system regarding the "Hole Patching - Range" in the Derive function?

My Inventor version is:

Autodesk Inventor Professional 2018

64-Bit Edition

Build: 284, Release: 2018.3.2 - Date: Mon 09/03/2018

Many thanks!
