Help with direction...

I have a lot of 2D drawings I need to convert over to Inventor 3D files. These files are all made of plastic films sealed together to form an envelope. There are two basic shapes, one is basically like a camelback or kind of like a zip lock bag, and the other is basically a a box made of 6 pieces of film. I would like to model them to show that they are actually film and in the box case, not just a box. (ie. showing a little bit of seem on the outside of the box where the two pieces of film were joined. The other 'bag' style I need to be able to show the welded seem on as well.

I've been messing around with it a little bit and can't seem to find a good direction. Any help, tips, or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The customization group is for programming questions.  Since yours seems to be a general modeling question you'll likely get more response by posting it in the general "Autodesk Inventor" group.
