Hatching a Part in Autodesk Inventor

Hi, I'm looking for a way to add a hatch in the same way you'd add a material or colour to a part. this would mean that every time you create a non shaded view, the hatch would appear on that part, around objects in front of it or on top of it.

For Example I have a concrete slab shown in an isometric view, a section and a front view. I have designated the part as concrete and added a hatch to the front view. I don't want to have to keep updating the hatch in my front view every time the drawing goes through a revision. it can become a problem detailing concrete over Also the way you add a hatch is a tad time consuming and inaccurate. whether you're creating a hatch by sketching it, creating a break out or sectioning a view. Is there another way?

I have done this only recently and it  works well. Assign hatching based on part material. The only tricky bit was getting the name by copy method out of the material editor. Unfortunately there is no drop down list of all your material names to choose from. I went into a part and edit the material and copied the name from there. Of course you can type it but if you have more than one, a chance of human error.
