Grounding I-logic part settings in drawing / assembly

Hello,

I've been working with I-logic rules in order to make different configurations of one part. But once inserted into a assembly with a desired configuration, the rule settings change into these of the part whenever the part rules are edited. With drawings there is the same problem. So my question is: is there a way to prevent the I-logic rule settings of parts in assemblies and drawings to be overriden on part level? The easier the better.
