events in Inventor

Hi,

i am working on a VB Projct to export some fileinformation or
browserinformation to a database. The questionis, how to use the events in
Inventor.
I'm looking for a onSaveDocument Event, to write information atomaticly to a
database after each save command.
Has someone an example for inventor-events?

thanks
Bruno

The only event type of thing I have seen is the selection sample I have been asking for
examples of events also.

If no one else posts anything, I will post some tonight from home. What event flag are you looking for Kent? I'm not being frugal, I just don't have the code here at work. Mike@RTSWright

I will post in the customer files a zip file named Event. I was only half successful in figuring out the events. OnStart and onStop work well, onSave events just wont log in the list box. I left the code in so that maybe it will spark someone else to show me where I went wrong (Bryan Ekins, perhaps). Mike@RTSWright

They made a number of changes to the API in R5 that killed a things done in
R4 (that's what happens when your living on the edge ;-))

The zip file is so small that I've attached it to this message. It fixes
Mike's code so that the save events work from R5 (won't work now with R4).
