Editing revision table (custom iproperties) from windows explorer

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'm working (Inventor 2015) on a revision table that is linked to custom iProperties columns (no iLogic at this point). When I update a value in iProperties in inventor, it updates immediately in the active revision row on the table. But when I update it in windows explorer > (right click > iProperties > Update a value > re-open the document), the revision table stays as it was. (The reason we use windows explorer, so so we can update 50 drawings at once)

My question was, is there a way to have this update automatically? Failing that, is there an iLogic rule that I can trigger on document open that will "refresh" the revision table instantly...?

Just checking.  After you have done this through Windows Explorer, then you open the inventor file, is the Custom iProperty value still the way you set it from Windows Explorer?  If you go to the Manage Tab, then click on click on the "Update" button, does it then update the revision table to show the way you wanted?

I'm not familiar with the layout & available tools in Inventor 2015 anymore, so I don't know if you would have the Inventor Task Scheduler back then.  But if you have that, you may be able to use it to update all of the files you have modified from Windows Explorer.
