Drawing Dimensions are missing

1. I have opened a part and dwg as shown below. whenever I change the dimensions in 3D model, the drawing is updating as well. No issues as of now but,

2. When I further make some changes in 3D model and due to some miss-match values in 3D model, the features produce errors as shown below. As errors are there in 3D model the drawing view misses the geometry in drafting.

 

3. And when I give back the correct geometry values the 3D model comes back like below shown. but the dimension are missing in drawing view. How can I get the dimension back as they were at the first pic

Hi!

Able that option to maintain orphan dimensions.

Probably you can lose a few, or have to reconnect some dimensions, but most of all dimensions will be available.

Also, close the drawing during the solid tweaks and edits. If you open the drawing only when the solid is ok, it will avoid the drawing updates, so you are avoiding errors occurring in the drawing when the solid has problems.

Also... I believe the part can be designed with a better process to avoid errors.
