It's the same download, just different licensing. The licensing (for the most part) is what determines what all you are allowed to do with the Inventor application. Try clicking on the drop-down menu beside the little question mark in the top right corner of the Inventor screen, then choose the "About Autodesk Inventor ..." option. Then in that pup-up screen, click on the Product Information button, near the bottom right. This usually shows the License Manager. You may now see some light blue phrase you can click on that says: "Change License type". Click on that. If you have a serial number from when you confirmed your student status, you should be able to enter it under the "Other license types" divider, labeled "Enter a serial number" when you click on the "Select" button. If you don't have a serial number, you may have to create or sign into your Autodesk Account, then navigate to where your products are, then start Inventor that way.
