Hello,
I am looking for a way to convert a Sketch-up 3d .dwg to an Inventor assembly. I have an extremely large file and the last time I tried to convert, it took a day and a half to finally render. I need to be able to attach and manipulate other assemblies to it. I have used converting it to an .Iges through AutoCad in the past but that came out as a mesh file. Does anyone have any suggestions on how speed the process up or to get a proper rendering? Any help would be appreciated as this is a time sensitive project. I have already tried a direct import in Inventor but that was no help.
