Hi all
Our drawings show the Physical Properties - Model - Mass. But through the API we also use the mass I get from assembly Component Definition '_assemblyDoc.ComponentDefinition.MassProperties.Mass'. Usually they are the same.
We have a sub-assembly we had to override the mass (248 Kg delta). Afterwards in higher level assemblies these mass values doesn't match and the more levels up you go the delta increases. I haven't tried to calculate if the delta percentage is the same.
To make matters worse. On on drawing I summed up the parts list and it matched one of the values. Summed up parts list a level above and it matched the other value.
After I removed the weight override as a test the mass values match. But when I tried to sum the parts list this value didn't.
Any ideas?
